If a veterinary license or prescription is needed to purchase an item, please contact CAR veterinary staff for assistance at carvets@msu.edu.
Campus Animal Resources veterinary approval is needed to purchase some items through
off-campus private suppliers.
In urgent cases when veterinary supplies cannot be obtained through an outside supplier, CAR may have certain items available in stock on campus that can be provided until external supplies are made available.

Or visit the Spartan Marketplace at 166 Service Road, East Lansing weekdays. T: 517-884-6240 for assistance.
Some drugs and other substances are carefully regulated under the Controlled Substances Act (DEA List). A State of Michigan researcher license and a DEA researcher registration are required for the purchase of controlled substances.
