- Analgesics: NSAIDS (e.g., meloxicam, ketoprofen) and topicals (e.g., lidocaine, bupivicaine)

Procuring Other Drugs
Some drugs and other substances are carefully regulated under the Controlled Substances Act (DEA List). A State of Michigan researcher license and a DEA researcher registration are required for the purchase of controlled substances. MSU Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) has several resources for questions about obtaining controlled substances.
