Transferring Animals

Additional IACUC approval is required to transfer an animal to another protocol. The original approval was based on information you provided about specific animals and procedures.

  • Review by CAR Vet - for health and history of animal(s) to be transferred
  • Primary Investigators must complete a Transfer Request Form in Click AOPS.
  • Administrative Review - to check if the protocol has sufficient animals available
  • Facilities Management Review - to verify there are no health risks associated with building-to-building transfers
