Interdisciplinary Science & Technology Bldg

Faculty from the disciplines of Behavioral Neuroscience, Physiology, Precision Medicine, and Reproductive and Developmental Sciences will have wet labs and offices in the building.  Campus Animal Resources will oversee the veterinary care, husbandry, animal facility and cage wash areas for the ISTB.  This building was designed and constructed to emulate the Grand Rapids Research Center, and construction was completed in less than two years! 

mouse and rat surgery suiteThe animal facility will have dedicated mouse and rat surgery suites (pictured left), procedural and behavioral rooms, and space to house over 4000 cages of mice and rats.

Researchers from several buildings on MSU’s campus will  be moving into the Interdisciplinary Science and Technology building in Fall 2019.
