New Compliance Management Suite Coming!

The Office of Regulatory Affairs is launching a new web-based system for Institutional Review Board (IRB), Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC), and Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) compliance. The new system will streamline the creation, submission, and review of applications and protocols for researchers and reviewers. EHS Training combined with Animal Care, Human Subjects, etc.

Easier to login & track CITI Program training

You can now login to CitiPrograms.org with your MSU NetID & password. Using MSU SSO provides several benefits. You'll have one less name & password to remember!  Your CITI records are imported into train.ora.msu.edu with your other training records.  You get single-sign-on capability so you are automatically logged in to all other MSU only systems after the first sign-on.  Try it now if you are already using your MSU net email address (@msu.edu) for your CITI...more


Update your CITI Programs account with @MSU.edu email

Single-sign-on (SSO) allows you to login to CITIprograms.org using your MSU NetID and password.  You must update your CITI Program account with your @msu.edu email address. SSO will not work with other versions (e.g. @ht.msu.edu, @egr.msu.edu).We recommend merging previous accounts to include in your MSU login when prompted. Effective March 2015, CITIprogram.org users will need to have IE 8 or later*, or use a current version of Chrome, Firefox, or Safari.  View CITI Transcripts in train.ora.msu.edu.  Transcripts are imported weekly into the ORA Saba Training system allowing you and your supervisor to review CITI course completion records along with other MSU regulatory training. Michigan State University joins the National Institutes of Health (NIH) as a remote site for the online course, Introduction to the Principles and Practice of Clinical Research (IPPCR).  Course Description: IPPCR is a five-month course (Oct. 14, 2014-Mar. 9, 2015) on how to effectively conduct clinical research. MSU's Authorship Guidelines Updated

MSU's Research Integrity Committee has released new general guidelines on authorship of scholarly and creative works for public distribution. However, most journals or websites for publications state criteria for authorship, and the journal/group to which one intends to submit work should take precedence over the MSU criteria. New! Export Control Worksheet System

Research Facilitation & Dissemination has introduced an online version of the “Export Control and Open Research Review” and “Export Control Worksheet for MSU-Sponsored Visa Applications” worksheets.
